Summer Camp

As the weather gets hotter, I can’t help but await the end of June…then I realize I’m a grown woman, and my days of playing ga-ga and making friendship bracelets at summer camp are over. It’s been many years since overnight camp, and I really believe that every kid who enjoyed their experience there, miss their summers away. The camps I went to, 2 different ones in Toronto, and one magical one in California, taught me so much and I feel so grateful for the experiences I had. At camp you feel free to be who you were at an age that it isn’t always easy to do so. I always felt that this was the place where I was able to experiment with fashion the most, sharing a wardrobe with a cabin of girls.

I’ve always found myself attracted to things that remind of summer camp, friendship bracelets, like these beautiful ones by KIM&ZOZI, moccasins, and my favourite activity for arts and crafts, tie-dye.

Slip Away

Fashion Magazine asked their style panel how to rock the slip dress. I went for a sexy and chic look when I discussed this trend during the summer. Here is what I said about layering up and making this an effortless fall outfit.

Slip into Chic

The Luxe Life, the blog for asked me what my favourite summer outfit is and since the season has really been all about 1990’s trends I decided to style the next fall must have piece, the slip dress. It’s perfect for the summer too, as it helps create an effortless look that is still very chic. This is what I said.
