You have to love when designers make high fashion accessible with collaborations with some of our favourite stores. This past month Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, the designers behind Peter Pilotto teamed up with Target to release an amazing collection of printed and patterned masterpieces. Social media has blown up with #ootd shots of how people styled this beautiful collection.

I wanted to style this dress by adding my own accessories. So I wore my new cat eye glasses from Clearly Contacts, they were the perfect playful piece to add some personality with this super on-trend dress.
I’ll be working with Clearly Contacts as part of their Style Ambassador program, to show you how to style glasses and make them key parts of your outfits! I’m so honoured to be working with such an awesome brand and can’t wait to show you my favourite #FourEye looks! 😉

During the winter months, I often resort to the most practical shoes, ignoring all of the amazing “works of art” that I’ve acquired, as I want to keep them as safe from the snow and salt as possible. We get so much snow here in Toronto, that turns into gross slush that when mixed with salt is like shoe kryptonite. As the season winds down (hopefully) keep your eyes open for more practical shoes that you’ll be able to wear throughout the season. Buying them on sale and taking care of them with the proper shoe care sprays will allow  you to feel more carefree when walking in the snow.

These amazing boots are by the British label Kurt Geiger, which has an amazing sale going on right now!

It’s New York Fashion Week and I’m sitting here in Toronto so jealous. Fashion week, each season, is so hard for me, because I don’t usually get time off to visit shows. Next month, when Toronto shows come to town, I hope to get to as many as possible, and can’t wait to see the amazing local talent.

In New York, all I’ve been seeing is athletic wear. From running shoes (which I just picked up an amazing pair) to track jackets (see Pharrell William’s Grammy look). I am obsessed with this season from Adidas. Where the sporting look isn’t really my style, this season they’ve created breathtaking pieces that are edgy and feminine.

Oh, and with the Olympic Games going on, I’m feeling a little bit sporty, too. Go Canada!
