This week, Fashion Magazine asked their style panel how to wear silk during the hot summer months. Silk, while it’s very breathable, also allows for sweat to leave some embarrassing pit-stains 🙁  which could be problematic on hot days. But, with help from a good antiperspirant (I love this one from Dove) I spend my summers sweat-free in luxurious silks! Here is how I told Fashion to style them.

This dress is clearly one of my favourites, seen here and here in each Spring/Summer season.

As the weather gets hotter, I can’t help but await the end of June…then I realize I’m a grown woman, and my days of playing ga-ga and making friendship bracelets at summer camp are over. It’s been many years since overnight camp, and I really believe that every kid who enjoyed their experience there, miss their summers away. The camps I went to, 2 different ones in Toronto, and one magical one in California, taught me so much and I feel so grateful for the experiences I had. At camp you feel free to be who you were at an age that it isn’t always easy to do so. I always felt that this was the place where I was able to experiment with fashion the most, sharing a wardrobe with a cabin of girls.

I’ve always found myself attracted to things that remind of summer camp, friendship bracelets, like these beautiful ones by KIM&ZOZI, moccasins, and my favourite activity for arts and crafts, tie-dye.
