Winter Break

Winter has come and the holidays are here and with this recent blast of freezing rain and stormy weather , in Toronto, it’s a little hard to picture the enjoyable aspects of winter.

To contrast those extremely dark and depressing winter days, my favourite prints to wear are floral. I think when times are gloomy, that you should dress to cheer yourself and those around you up. You’d be surprised what can be accomplished by adding a little colour to your wardrobe or outfit.

Stay warm my kittens 😉 more posts to catch up from loosing internet from the great ice storm of 2013!

Fashion Magazine asked the style panel how to dress monochromatically, I went stripe on stripe and stayed within the same tone. It’s a bold look, but I totally love how the contrasting stripes worked out.

This week Fashion Magazine asked a very good question, about what colours suit your skin tone nicely. If you can’t tell, without sunshine and time to tan (with sunscreen of course) my skin becomes translucent white. Here is what I said.
