The weekends during the fall are a great time to get outside and explore  the parts of the city that you didn’t get to this summer. With the nights getting colder, we can already feel the dreaded winter ahead, so take every opportunity to get out and see the city.  Where are you going to go?

As we explore the city during the fall it’s also a great time to explore new trends that you wouldn’t necessarily expect for the fall. This season is all about the unexpected. WIth pastels, florals, boudoir styling mixed with punk, fur textures and leathers this season really anything goes.

Happy Labour Day friends! I hope everyone enjoys the last few days of summer. If your going out to any parties this long weekend, try a trend that you’ve been tempted to do, take the chance.  It’s during the summer that we tend to take more chances with our style, as winters we usually just get comfortable. So be daring and have some weekend fashion fun!

As we approach the last long weekend of the summer, it’s probably the hardest trend transition of the year, as we tend to hold on to summer as long as we possibly can. This season there are some easy trends that we can carry over from summer, like the strong black and white outfit and really bold graphic prints. Here is what I said when Fashion Magazine discussed this with their style panel.
