When heading back into a work week, I like to prep my outfits to ensure that they are clean, steamed and prepared for the possibility of a sleep-in, especially when a long weekend had just passed. I’m very selective when choosing appropriate outfits for work, as I want to ensure I have decent coverage of any bra straps and undergarments. I find that as my fashion taste has evolved, my style has become a bit more modest in terms of length, favouring midi to maxi rather than shorter hemlines for an office environment. I love the ladylike silhouette that this hemline provides, and it is flattering on basically everyone.
There is something to be said about gloomy grey days, and the lack of need to wear sunglasses, but rather my prescription frames that I simply adore.
When I wake up to a weather report that calls for a cool and cloudy day, I get excited at the opportunity to wear my glasses, before dreading the idea of leaving my bed. I drive into and out of sunlight during my daily commute, so unless it’s going to be overcast, it usually easier for me to wear contact lenses and sunglasses.

The cat-eye styled frame looks amazing on so many different people, and has really become one of the top style for glasses. I find that being able to style different glasses allows for your to change your look so easily. Recently, I’ve been recommending to all of my friends lately to buy two different pairs of glasses, something basic and another pair that’s more bold, fun or daring.
I think that this season’s best silhouette is the full skirt that falls at or below the knee. There is something so ladylike about this length and can be easily styled with so many different tops, everything from blouses to crop tops.
