What a fantastic year! I’m overwhelmed with the love & support and so grateful for everything that has happened in 2015! I cannot wait to see what adventures Trevor, Monkey and I get into in 2016!
So much love!
I’ve been wearing glasses since I was a kid, never really appreciating how beautiful they can be and interest they can bring to your outfit, and as you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been full-on 4-eyes for the last few months.
My only issue with my glasses was driving in the sun I found myself often blinded during the afternoon commute by that beautiful setting sun. Enter Holly Eyewear, an eyewear boutique in Yorkville, that I had first found on Instagram. Holly, the shop owner, explained to me the importance of quality eye care and how a pair of prescription sunglasses would protect my eyes from the damages of the sun. Finding the perfect glasses was simple, as she carries such a stunning curated selection of designer and unique brands, and I immediately fell for these rose gold cat eye frames from Sunday Somewhere.
Thank you so much Holly for all the help and this amazing pair of prescription sunglasses, as promised my life is changed!

]]>2016 has big promise, as my hubby and I will be moving into our new home (hopefully by the fall). I discussed with Fashion Magazine how I plan for moving and staying fashionable within a budget.

I must say, relaxing at home has new meaning since my Calvin Klein sports bra came home with me. The fit and cut is amazing, and I ran out to grab the other colours after wearing this one on repeat. Lately, in efforts to save some money for our up-coming move, we’ve been staying-in more than usual, and I love the fact that I can lounge in such a cute set of underwear by Calvin Klein.

Fashion Magazine asked their style panel about transitioning their favourite pieces from summer into the fall season. There is what I told them.

Fashion Magazine asked their style panel about what they wear while riding their bikes. I’m new to the game and actually trying to overcome a fear of riding through the city, so currently I’m only exploring the amazing paths that we have in our city. Here is what I told the style panel.

I think it’s officially the most confusing time of the year to get dressed. With the temperatures changing so drastically from day to day, and sometimes, even throughout the day. Yesterday, was a beautiful sunny day that left you peeling off your layers, whereas today, the breeze sent chills straight to my bones.
I find it essential to dress with a plan during this complicated weather. The jacket, is sometimes the hardest, but can be the most critical part if it’s calling for wind or cooler temperatures. I love that sweaters are on sale at this time of the year, and will usually stock up with a few beautiful ones for the fall, but can work perfectly for those days that don’t require a coat. All that’s left to find this spring is an easy cami to wear underneath everything.
What are your spring essentials for this complicated weather?

]]>There is something to be said about gloomy grey days, and the lack of need to wear sunglasses, but rather my prescription frames that I simply adore.
When I wake up to a weather report that calls for a cool and cloudy day, I get excited at the opportunity to wear my glasses, before dreading the idea of leaving my bed. I drive into and out of sunlight during my daily commute, so unless it’s going to be overcast, it usually easier for me to wear contact lenses and sunglasses.
I picked out these Ray Ban frames at ClearlyContact.ca, and I absolutely adore their flirty shape. The cat-eye styled frame looks amazing on so many different people, and has really become one of the top style for glasses. I find that being able to style different glasses allows for your to change your look so easily. Recently, I’ve been recommending to all of my friends lately to buy two different pairs of glasses, something basic and another pair that’s more bold, fun or daring.
