Prints—this season I’ve been obsessed with mixing prints, patterns, and textiles. I usually try to work with in the same colour story to maintain consistency within an outfit. But I love the way it creates a playground for your eyes.

Suiting up is without a question one of my favourite styles, so structured. You can have fun with textures and with your accessories by making bold statements, while keeping it simple.

Tweed always reminds me of the fall, and I think it works really well contrasted with something soft like lace. Banana Republic is the perfect place to find great pieces for the office, and you should take these classic pieces and wear them with your favourite trendy clothing to an unexpected  look.

Capes… I never thought I’d wear one as they always odd to me, but when I came across this one by Cole Haan, I’d knew it would become a staple.  Trying it on, I could immediately picture myself wearing it with a number of outfits.

Sometimes you need to step outside of your preconceived opinions on an item of clothing, just like with people, and give everything a fair chance to impress you. Cole Haan always seems to do it right and I’m not sure why I ever questioned capes.
