What a fantastic year! I’m overwhelmed with the love & support and so grateful for everything that has happened in 2015! I cannot wait to see what adventures Trevor, Monkey and I get into in 2016!
So much love!

Fashion Magazine is headed to Miami this week, and asked their style panel what to wear when adventuring around this beautiful and lively city. I’ve been going to Miami, since I was kid, and feel as though it’s my second home. I’ll be heading there in February and cannot wait to hit the malls and beaches. Here is what I told Fashion Magazine is my biggest tip to for packing for this sunny city.

Fashion Magazine asked their style panel about their Halloween costume plans. Since the festive holiday lands on a weekday, I plan to keep things very work appropriate, yet fun wearing a head-to-toe leopard suit, giving my girl Josie from Josie and the Pussycats some love.
Here’s what I told Fashion Magazine.

]]>When I started blogging, my favourite trend to style was the playful pattern one that is still going strong today. Unlikely duos allow for the most interesting outfits. Since my favourite colour combo lately has been a bright red and pale blue, I tried to style within this colour-story but with contrasting patterns.
The outcome has got to be one of my favourite outfits I’ve ever worn. The strong plaid print from the overall-dress mixed with the sheer and delicate snake-skin blouse, is unexpectedly amazing.

When Fashion Magazine asked their style panel about the midi skirt, which is a huge trend this season, I took a moment to look back at some of my favourite ones that I’ve styled. I ended up showing their readers this amazing Valentino Red dress that I picked up years ago, that is a perfect example of how easy this cut of skirt is, once you figure out the shoes. Here is what I said.

This summer season is truly about colour, as the gardens are in full bloom and the days seem to last forever. This season’s bright colours influenced the newest collection of Derek Cardigan frames available at Clearly Contacts. Available in the classic 7003 frame in fluoro fuchsia, blue, purple, and an amazing neon green that will turn heads! So far I’ve loved every look I’ve styled these frames with, and they are quickly becoming my favourite accessory of the season.

When Fashion Magazine asked me to style this season’s super hot trend of metallics, I was somewhat lost at first. I looked back to some of my favourite times I’ve worked with this trend before like last December when I wore my boldest metallic look which was a great mini dress from the Isabel Marant pour H&M collection.
I find that this trend, is much easier to introduce into your wardrobe as flavour, rather than being the featured item. Like when Topshop Canada brought out the bling with this chain collar around the holidays last year, or this insane cuff from ASOS. Metallic shoes have always been a big thing (booties) (heels), and this summer there are so many choices available, and luckily now likely on sale!
Here is what I said to the style panel.

After the storm you have to get back into the swing of things and move on. I feel like when you’re having a rough day it’s best wear something bright to cheer you up. There is a good chance the people around you could use some visual stimulation too, so dressing in solid monochromatic colours should make the people around you smile too. Here is my monochromatic rainbow, mixing tones, hues, and prints to create interesting outfits.
