Today is Labour Day, the unofficial end of summer. Though, I’m not ready to be in layers, rather than laying on the beach, I am ready to reset my wardrobe and think of things in different ways. Before I do, I’ve been wearing my favourite pieces of the summer before I say goodbye to them-for what seems like forever. Here’s a look back at some of my favourite looks from this summer (in no particular order):
1) Office Appropriate – which is a great transitional look too
2) Wet Hot American Fashion
3) Rain Delay – which inspired this beautiful painting by the lovely Kyra Kendall
Hope you enjoyed your summer! Thank you for spending it with Trevor, Monk and I <3

I’ve clearly been a fan of plaid for some time now, examples 1, 2, and 3, and with print-mixing being my favourite trend of 2013, I thought I’d have some fun with this pattern. When experimenting with combining different prints it is important to look at size ratios. You want to create something interesting for the eye to bounce between with contrast. So look at mixing small, medium and large sized prints.

]]>Fashion Magazine asked their style panel to discuss statement accessories and how to wear them this season. For me, it’s usually about the shoes. Classic quality bags, simple yet edgy jewellery usually, and super cool, unique, or strangely comfortable) shoes. Here is what I said.
