Trevor and I are traditionalist. Valentine’s Day isn’t necessarily a huge deal for us, as we spend most days expressing our love and gratitude to each other. But we do like to celebrate the sentiment with Thai food.
Other than the delicious dinner we will enjoy tonight, we don’t have much planned for our long weekend. I’m still on the mend from my recent knee surgery, so there will likely be a Netflix marathon of sorts, while staying cozy and warm.
There is absolutely nothing better (and cuter) to be wearing while doing nothing, than this sick sweat suit from Toronto brand Skinny Sweats. Adrienne Butikofer, creates her line of luxury loungewear mostly with her own hands, in super-small batches. What I love most about this slow-fashion brand, is that Adrienne takes pride in the process and works with local vendors to create truly timeless products. And luckily for us, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, she’s put all of her Rose Quartz pieces on sale! She’s also shared her plans for her new collection, inspired by the Pantone colours of the year, Blue Serenity and Dusk will be added to the Rose Quartz, which has just been released for pre-sale and are perfect for spring!
So happy Valentine’s Day to everyone celebrating this special day make sure to treat your self!! I hope everyone enjoys their day off tomorrow! Stay warm!

Fashion Magazine asked their style panel to discuss how to dress for fashion week, here is what I said.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner along with Fashion Week hitting Toronto, I want to talk about fashion anxiety. Getting dressed everyday and looking cute is easy for some, but others struggle with putting together an outfit confidently, turning to fashion bloggers to find relatable advice and guidance. For me, I question everything before hitting an event, unless I plan well in advance. So before any event, a fashion show or a hot date with the hubby, I like to give myself sometime to rethink (although I usually change back into outfit 1).
Wishing everyone out there a Valentine’s Day Long Weekend (Family Day long weekend) filled with some sexy sexy time!

What is sexy? I often ask myself the same question in terms of clothing. Trying to be sexy usually doesn’t work, as it comes off trying too hard and awkward. Rather the goal is to find a natural look, which you feel great in and allows you to glow with confidence… now that is sexy. There truly isn’t anything sexier than confidence. Well tailored clothing will allow you to gain that confidence. No matter how you like your clothes; oversized, tight or fitted, it is important that they are cut well so that they flatter your body.
Oh and leopard print. That’s pretty sexy too
This Valentine’s day will be our first as since Trevor (my photographer) and I got married and I’m not too sure of the details but we’ve discussed starting a new tradition. Regardless, I will use any excuse to dress up and celebrate our love! Happy Valentine’s my loves and I hope you all have a lovely and sexy day!
