Winter has come and the holidays are here and with this recent blast of freezing rain and stormy weather , in Toronto, it’s a little hard to picture the enjoyable aspects of winter.
To contrast those extremely dark and depressing winter days, my favourite prints to wear are floral. I think when times are gloomy, that you should dress to cheer yourself and those around you up. You’d be surprised what can be accomplished by adding a little colour to your wardrobe or outfit.
Stay warm my kittens more posts to catch up from loosing internet from the great ice storm of 2013!

]]>Mixing patterns like stripes with florals can be make for an overwhelming outfit, but truthfully it’s all about balance. Making sure the contrast is exciting, and that you have an element in your outfit that give it a base, in this case it would be the black leather pumps and the moto jacket. They unite the outfit together and allow for the contrasting pieces to steal the spotlight.
