With the weather warming up, we are super excited to wear all of the new dresses we’ve picked up, but I’m not quite ready to put away my boots. I live in a tiny little apartment, where only half my wardrobe can fit into my tiny closet at a time. It’s okay, I plan ahead  for the season really well and have learned to deal with the concept of storage. I currently am still in winter, caused by busy work schedules and I’m okay with that. My boots are still out and good to rock for a few more days, before being replaced by sandals.

Firstly, I apologize for my absence, I was on vacation and now I have a baby kitten at home, who is stealing all of my attention.

Now let’s talk about prom, it’s a fashion milestone, one short epic evening, and the closing of a chapter in your life. What to wear? Figuring this part out is probably second biggest decision in your last year of high school, first being figuring out what to do next year.

Below is a flashback of my prom outfit, looking back, I still love it, it was perfect for the look I was going for; old hollywood glam, but I can’t help but think of the price tag attached to this outfit, in the sense that this is a dress I’ve worn once, for a few hours. The fashion market place has changed, with designer collaborations at every corner, getting perfect prom look is a lot easier and less expensive.

For those of us north of the border, we’ve been patiently awaiting the opening of Target forever, and now that its officially here, my question is have you gone? I haven’t, I’m waiting for one to open up a bit closer. One of the great things about Target is their designer collaborations. This tanktop is from the  Prabal Gurung for Target collection that came out back in February,I fell in love and ordered it ASAP.

I can’t wait to see the next high fashion designer to come to Target!
