The only way I can get through my weekly tasks after a long work week is by dressing up and making things like groceries and dry cleaning seem more glamourous. It may seem silly, to wear your heels to a like picking up fresh produce, but by making this activity seem more special you may find a new sense of enjoyment in it.

]]>With Baz Luhrmann’s reinterpretation of The Great Gatsby coming this May, I am falling seriously in love with all things 1920s. Beading, tassels, and fringe were huge in this era, and it was really all about glam and movement. This is a simple fringe dress that I picked up from Urban Outfitters on sale, and it’s actually so timeless and perfect for many of the upcoming spring and summer events! Try to play up the soft beauty element with it, soft curls and a matte lip.
Have fun with the 1920s trend, can’t wait to see the film!
