There is something to be said about gloomy grey days, and the lack of need to wear sunglasses, but rather my prescription frames that I simply adore.

When I wake up to a weather report that calls for a cool and cloudy day, I get excited at the opportunity to wear my glasses, before dreading the idea of leaving my bed. I drive into and out of sunlight during my daily commute, so unless it’s going to be overcast, it usually easier for me to wear contact lenses and sunglasses.

I picked out these Ray Ban frames at ClearlyContact.ca, and I absolutely adore their flirty shape. The cat-eye styled frame looks amazing on so many different people, and has really become one of the top style for glasses. I find that being able to style different glasses allows for your to change your look so easily. Recently, I’ve been recommending to all of my friends lately to buy two different pairs of glasses, something basic and another pair that’s more bold, fun or daring.

Maybe I planned my shopping list for fall better this year, or maybe, I just got lucky, but this season I’ve already fallen in love with my newest treasures from my fall haul. I searched for an easy-to-wear, oversized sweater and came up with a steal with this great knit from Joe Fresh. I’ve learned to achieve ultimate comfort, to go up a size. I was looking for unique, yet interesting jewellery, and found great treasures from Baublebar. And probably the hardest commodity to for me to choose each season are my boots, but that was simple with Topshop Canada.

World Mastercard Fashion Week has landed in Toronto and this is the week to get spotted as a fashionista while downtown. The city’s finest will be out all week, strutting their stuff and watching Canada’s most talented designer’s showcasing their collections. This season, we aren’t putting away our floral patterns quite yet. The unexpected fall print is being paired with plaid for a 90s vibe. I am totally loving the fall floral, and it allows me to not store these happy prints in my storage for the season.

The Luxe Life, the blog for www.eluxe.ca asked me what my favourite summer outfit is and since the season has really been all about 1990’s trends I decided to style the next fall must have piece, the slip dress.
