I’ve been all about prints for sometime now, mixing and pairing them in unexpected ways, but what seems to be the next big thing is the concepts of suiting and matching. We’ve been seeing a lot of this lately, with this summer’s crop tops worn with matching shorts and skirts. For fall it’s much more conservative, fitted trousers, structured yet simple blazers and this time we are challenging you to try a new print. I haven’t been able to find the perfect leopard suit, but when I found this set from Topshop a few weeks back, I thought the structure would help make do until I satisfy my sartorial urges.

Fashion Magazine asked their style panel to discuss statement accessories and how to wear them this season. For me, it’s usually about the shoes. Classic quality bags, simple yet edgy jewellery usually, and super cool, unique, or strangely comfortable) shoes. Here is what I said.

As we approach the last long weekend of the summer, it’s probably the hardest trend transition of the year, as we tend to hold on to summer as long as we possibly can. This season there are some easy trends that we can carry over from summer, like the strong black and white outfit and really bold graphic prints. Here is what I said when Fashion Magazine discussed this with their style panel.

]]>Fall has the most beautiful natural colour palette, filled with rich reds, deep yellows, burnt oranges, and of course all shades of brown and green. Though for me, the warm oranges and reds suit my skin tone the best. This fall, when dressing formal, I’ve gone for a very structured look that is a show stopper. This dress, part of H&M Conscious Collection, is made of recycled plastics and fibres and is probably one of the coolest pieces I’ve owned, with the 3D rose applica on the thighs, shoulders and collar and around the waist, not usually the most flattering, but this piece is cut so well that it’s perfect as a statement dress.
