There are some prints that are classics for the seasons, and there really isn’t anything wrong with that. It was Miranda Priestly’s character, played by Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, who coined the phrase that made floral in the springtime feel too obvious. But in reality it’s a natural fit, as fresh blooms seem to be everywhere and a symbol of the season. This season I’ve tried to play with the size of the floral prints, and in this case, the graphic nature makes this floral an instant classic.
After all, April showers bring May flowers!

This week, Fashion Magazine wanted to discuss neon and how to wear it without looking like your a rave kid. I love bright colours, I feel like when you wear them, people around you smile (of course, if you’re wearing them correctly). I once wore this dress during an important meeting. It was a bold choice and likely not meant for everyone, but I was able to start the conversation off with compliments on the colour and the meeting continued up-hill from there.
This is my post for Fashion Magazine
