I have many different opinions about the shade grey, and are just as confusing as the proper way to spell it; Grey (CND) vs Gray (US). But regardless of how I feel about this colour, dressing in it, monochromatically, can be a fun challenge.

I threw together this outfit from a combination of desires I’ve had. This turtleneck from Topshop is see-through—I love the chunky-knit combined with the delicate and revealing underneath crop top. I layered on top of this a plaid shirt, which makes this look seem effortless, as flannel often does.

I think it’s business casual meets sexy lumberjack-construction worker. It’s a weird look – but I like it.
