Watching the 2014 Olympic games, has been amazing, as the athletes representing our country are proving why #WeAreWinter. I just want to thank Team Canada for showing our country’s true colours this year at the games, as honest, kind and thoughtful people who overall understand the meaning of good sportsmanship.
This morning Canadians are up exceptionally early to watch our amazing hockey team plays against Sweden for the gold medal. Come on boys – make us proud!! – (follow up: we won gold! congrats to all of the medal winners)

This season give a gift that means a little more. Billy Talent and Bluenotes have teamed up and designed a limited edition graphic tee, with all proceeds going to Kids Help Phone. The tee is only $10 and makes the perfect stocking stuffer.
Over the past 16 years Bluenotes has already raised over $1.6 million dollars for Kids Help Phone! So buy a tee, give a gift and help a kid! Available both in-store and online.

When times are hard, I’ve always said that wearing something bright can cheer people up, or at least break the ice. Interesting outfits can spark conversations. Try to cheer up the room next time your office is stressed at crunch time!

Through the Japanese Embassy, Canada received cherry trees to a number of locations like High Park in Toronto and Vancouver, back in 1959, to symbolize a growing friendship between the two countries. If you are downtown Toronto this week, walk through this garden to be truly amazed. I highly recommend getting down there sometime as this place is magical.

Welcome to spring. I believe, it’s here Toronto.
Let’s quickly discuss spring florals. It’s expected, but this season it’s a little bit different. It’s all about a bold floral print. Oh a large, oversized bold floral print. I love to mix patterns to create contrast, so I would love to see a oversize floral mixed with a mirco-flower pattern, but for those less adventurous, pick up some of the amazing printed denim available this season.

]]>The holidays remind us about charity, and giving to those in need. With life so crazy it’s often we need a reminder, or sadly, a tragedy, to think about those in need, so I hope with this message I can remind my readers to go out and make a difference in the lives of the people in your community! Tis the season!
For anyone still left on your list, this great and meaningful tee is only $10 from Bluenotes! Bluenotes partnered with Artists Against to support the Kids Help Phone this Holiday season. When you buy this tshirtall proceeds will be donated to the Kids Help Phone. This exclusive graphic tee is only available through Bluenotes.
