The strict weight restrictions of flying, often makes it difficult for an indecisive fashion lover to travel lightly. While at home, I try to plan the outfits for the trip, ensuring that I have items that work well together, and items incase the weather decides not to co-operate.
This dress is actually an amazing maxi skirt, that I brought to wear with a sweater during the cooler evenings while vacationing in Florida, but during this stunning day, it seemed to work better as an easy dress. Adding some sparkle with these beautiful Brides X BaubleBar earrings and an great heel, this is now a glamourous dress to take me anywhere. See how I styled this skirt as a dress back in 2012!

We have entered the month of August, and our nights have just gotten cooler and there’s a slight breeze throughout the day chilling the air. I think it’s time we really start thinking about transitional pieces that will work well into the fall. Right now there are amazing sales in the stores, and it’s a great time to think ahead and pick up pieces like this sweater dress, a steal- last year from the clearance rack at Club Monaco.

I think that this season’s best silhouette is the full skirt that falls at or below the knee. There is something so ladylike about this length and can be easily styled with so many different tops, everything from blouses to crop tops. This beautiful cream skirt is from Lord & Taylor’s line 424Fiftth, a beautiful collection exclusively carried in Canada at Hudson’s Bay. 424Fifth has been previewing their fall collection on Instagram over the last few weeks, and believe me, it’s going to be beautiful!
Here are two other amazing skirts, perfect for any occasion: Print Playlist, Spring Palette

This summer season is truly about colour, as the gardens are in full bloom and the days seem to last forever. This season’s bright colours influenced the newest collection of Derek Cardigan frames available at Clearly Contacts. Available in the classic 7003 frame in fluoro fuchsia, blue, purple, and an amazing neon green that will turn heads! So far I’ve loved every look I’ve styled these frames with, and they are quickly becoming my favourite accessory of the season.

Having a style blog and a keen eye for fashion I’ve developed my own personal style that is consistently changing. Along with each season’s trends, I adapt them each season to suit my style, which is typically filled with bright colours, bold patterns, and unique and timeless jewellery.
When making investments into jewellery, my theory has always been to ensure that the pieces mean something to you. I grew up wearing my birthstones, pearls, and have always been attracted to pearls designed into jewellery in really unique ways. For the past 4 years I’ve been wearing this pearl and happy-face bracelet by Nektar De Stagni everyday. For me it symbolizes my past and reminds me to be grateful and stay happy.
I just added my newest personalized piece of jewellery from Jewlr. This beautiful necklace makes getting the perfect piece of personalized jewellery super easy with both real and synthetic colourful stones or Swarovksi Zirconia crystals to choose from, and everything from silver to rose gold in metal choices, and the options to personalize it more with engravings. I’ve always wanted a name necklace and am thrilled to add more typography to my collection of one-of-a-kind pieces.

Every year I search the city for perfect summer dresses to wear to work or for a night out; something that is simple and easy. Materials make a huge difference. I love silk. It is a natural fibre that feels great against your skin and helps you stay cool with the summer heat. This dress I found is vintage and I LOVE it. I feel like it’s a perfect mix of everything that I was looking for and can easily be worn dressed up or down given the occasion

]]>Fashion Magazine asked the Style Panel what to wear for the upcoming wedding season. Here is what I said. This season is going to be super fun, as I celebrate my own engagement to my sexy photographer Trevor Negin, who popped the question in March after 6 years of dating. Those outfits are likely going to be hard to find and the search begins with numbered days before the first event. Wish me luck

Fashion Magazine asked the style panel how to dress monochromatically, I went stripe on stripe and stayed within the same tone. It’s a bold look, but I totally love how the contrasting stripes worked out.
Fashion Magazine asked the Style Panel what we thought of fur. Here is what I said.
